With our nano-ceramic particles buried inside the metal particles, we are printable, and we maintain our strength after printing. The presence of the particles allow the grain structure to reform after the fast melt-freeze process that occurs during printing, resulting in a fine grain and crack-free microstructure that optimizes performance. Gamma started with the design and production of wrought aluminum alloys and as anyone is of their first born, we are mighty proud. Our customers currently have products on the road, on the race track, and in the air (as well as many other places) with alloys that contain as much as 25% by volume micron-scale ceramic particles. The keys? The ceramic particles are small, spherical, and non-reactive. This makes them easier for Gamma to form into alloys than any other MMC out there. It also makes it possible for our customers to economically manufacture these materials into end products. 2000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 alloys are all available and our volumes are highly scalable.
